Diffusion Simulation

The following demonstration uses numerical analysis to calculate the concentration of a substance as a function of time.

The Constant checkboxes keep the concentration at a point constant. In effect, points which are held constant act as sources or sinks for the diffusing material.
If all the Constant boxes are unchecked then the amount of diffusing material will be kept constant.

Use the Clear button to remove all of the diffusing material.

Use the Create Step button to create an interface.
