On completion of this tutorial you should:
- Be familiar with the concept of energy bands;
- Understand about the two charge carriers, electrons and holes, in semiconductors;
- Understand why doping of semiconductors is useful;
- Be familiar with basic electronic devices made using semiconductors and how these devices operate.
