Part of a series of videos showing the glass transition in polymers, and the resulting change in energy dissipation on impact: Video at one tenth actual speed of a rubber ball bouncing at -190° C (well below Tg), showing that as the temperature is reduced below Tg, there is not enough energy for conformational changes to occur, and the ball becomes glassy.
