- Brief description
- When a magnet is brought near a spinning disk it causes magnetic flux changes and the formation of eddy currents, which consist of moving charges and hence are themselves magnetic fields. Repulsive forces between the 2 magnetic fields cause the spin of the disk to slow. From TLP Recycling of metals
