DoITPoMS's resources are free and open to everyone, but require significant investment in time and expertise to create.
DoITPoMS is developed and maintained by the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge. We receive no government or direct university funding - our work is supported by donations and grants from organisations and individuals who share our commitment to making a positive difference to materials science learners worldwide.
If you value DoITPoMS, would you consider supporting us by making a donation? Whether your contribution is big or small, your generosity will help us to keep developing our resources which support educators and learners worldwide.
How to give:
For UK and international supporters: donate via the University of Cambridge's secure philanthropic giving page
You can donate online to DoITPoMS through the University of Cambridge's secure philanthropic giving site. The whole of your donation will go directly to supporting DoITPoMS, with no deductions. This also allows the option to apply Gift Aid to your donation if you wish, making your gift worth even more to us at no extra cost to you.
For US taxpayers: give via Cambridge in America
If you are a US taxpayer you may prefer to donate via Cambridge in America. Cambridge in America is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organisation (recognised by the US Internal Revenue Service) which funds grants that benefit Cambridge University and its member colleges and departments. Gifts to Cambridge in America qualify for an income tax deduction to the limits allowed by law.
You can give online via the Cambridge in America secure online gift form. Please state when making your gift that you would like your donation to support 'DoITPoMS - Dissemination of IT for the Promotion of Materials Science'.
Thank you for your support!
