Further information
Treated at 1000 centigrade for 15 minutes and then isothermally treated at 200 centigrade for 4 days, start of bainite transformation. This micrograph shows a lath of bainitic-ferrite growing into a grain of austenite and the dislocation field generated by the displacive transformation.
